If you don’t want to travel too far from Salt Lake City there are seven different mountains right there.  Less than 40 miles from SLC airport you could be enjoying the beauty and great snow on your skiing vacation. All of the ski resorts in the area have kids’ ski schools and other programs to help out with your kids time and training.  Be sure to call ahead to book the sessions so they aren’t full when you arrive.  The resorts fill up quickly when the season is right.
