		<description>Hi, in researching your question I found that some exteriors for the film were shot in Monument Valley, Utah. The exteriors involving the fort itself and the renegade Indian agent&#039;s trading post were filmed at Corriganville, which is now a park in Simi Valley, California.
Also a visit to Goulding&#039;s is the original trading post, which looks just like it did when it appeared in &quot;Fort Apache&quot; in 1948. Now a museum, it features memorabilia, the swinging saloon doors from &quot;My Darling Clementine&quot; as well as pages from Goulding&#039;s celebrated guestbook, in which John Wayne poignantly wrote in 1945, &quot;Harry, you and I both owe these monuments a lot.&quot;
You can get more information from the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park visitor center which is just across the line from Utah into Arizona. It charges a $5 per vehicle entrance fee but includes a museum of Navajo accomplishments, a large souvenier store and a small restaurant.
The visitor center can arrange for you to take a tour on one of the buses that have permission to drive on the reservation. You can not take your car.
Thank you for asking.
